Does anyone suffer aching legs like mild cramp from top to bottom along with the RLS I have just started to experience this.

Interesting!! I had this all last week, a continued small cramp in my right calf, mildly painful, very annoying. Its gone now.

I so sympathise. I have this symptom all the time when the RLS starts and it doesn't relieve until the RLS goes. Have you tried a good masssge?

Thanks I did try massaging and it helped a bit. I think the aching legs must be aggravated by something else like sciatica. If I go to docs he will just say it is degenerative condition and give painkillers! I don't need reminding I am growing old!

the cramp is the main reason I started to use magnesium oil. to start I had a bad reaction which apparently can be due to a severe lack of magnesium in the body, I now use it every 2 or 3 nights with no real problem and it stops the cramp immediately. Could be worth a try, if you are on heart meds be careful because you must have the correct proportion of calcium and magnesium. I take Cal mag zinc twice a day. I also have spinal probs and sciatica and I know what you mean about the docs. luckily my GP is very understanding and patient. good luck, caz

Thank you I will look into the magnesium oil I am really lucky as I dont have any other health issues I feel really bad when I read all the problems some have to deal with. I don't take any medication only the odd painkiller. I find a cushion under my calves helps relieve the RLS symptoms.
