Gabapentin Dosing

SueJohnson I know you've written about this a million times. I'm treating PLMD with three 400mg gabapentin pills a day. It seems with that setup I should take 800mg 1-2 hours before bed, and the other 400mg two hours before that. Does that sound appropriate? (Right now I take 1 at 7pm, 2 at 8:15pm, but since I have terrible sleep hygiene, I'll go to bed anywhere from 9pm to 1am.)

Partly asking because I'm considering reducing the dosage due to lethargy (and I see recommendations of decreasing by 100mg-200mg every 2 weeks).

Take 600 mg 1 to 2 hours before bed and then 600 mg 2 hours before that. Anything over 600 mg is a waste.
