What is the best way to taper from .5 mg Clonazepam taken as .25 mg two times a day for 7 weeks? Should I taper with .125mg every two weeks?

I believe I am experiencing negative side effects from taking Clonazepam - fatique, weakness, dizziness during the day. I would like to continue taking only 0.25 mg Clonazepam at night against hypnic jerks, which I experience. I have Parkinson's disease.

My neurologist told me that I can just stop taking the morning dose of 0.25 mg (as I have been taking Clonazepam for less than 2 months), but I am too afraid to do it in order to avoid withdrawal symptoms.

I was taking 4 mg and my doctor had me reduce by .125 every 10 days.

Actually he wanted me to reduce every 2 weeks but since it was going well I did 10 days.

No. Taking it slow like that I didn't.
