Well managed to get a private prescription for this in UK. So much hope pinned on it. Worked absolutely brilliant for rls. Stopped sensation within 30 min. Down side is a drug primarily for insomnia made mine 10 times worse. Just lay 7 hours in a zombie type wakefulness. Not much good stopping rls if still getting no sleep. Tried for 4 nights and same every night

I am so sorry to hear this. That is incredibly disappointing for you.But it confirms the findings that it helps RLS.

I wonder if adding something else might counteract the insomnia?

Cannabis with THC or a small dose of pregabalin?

Such a shame. There is another drug in the same class that is also used for RLS - Suvorexant. Maybe see if it is available and try that instead? Obviously may have the smae issue but it has been surprising here how drugs of the same class have very different side effects in the one person.
