I take morphine and pregabalin. Both have short half-lifes and my legs start kicking like they read about this on schedule. What do people do about this problem assuming I am not alone with this problem? For several reasons I would prefer not to increase my doses although they are on the low end. Thanks.

Half-life issue?
Take the morphine every 4 to 6 hours so you avoid the mini withdrawals.
Either take the morphine every 4 to 6 hours throughout the day, or switch to methadone or Buprenorphine, which have a 24/25 hour half life.
Dr. B has me on 10mg/day of methadone and I sleep 8 hours or more every day. Would your doctor let you switch?
Pregablin became less effective after just over a year.
Potassium 300 mg and methyl folate 1000 mcg X2 (Noon and before bed) has been a stand out for nearly a month. I am following a keto diet and do weekday fasting 6 hour eating time span.
That's great. I'll try that when/if I have to give up on pregabalin again.
I have a somewhat special history with pregabalin working again. I was having a lot of anxiety when it stopped working a year ago and many drugs became intolerable (like tylenol, for example). After working through how my anxiety was responsible for some/most of my pain and medical issues with some mind/body therapists, I reviewed this history and thought pregabalin might work again due to my reduction in anxiety. I was trying morphine when I realized this and was reducing it but the pain doc suggested they might help each other out so I have a very low dose morphine sulphate dose that may be helping. This all has only been for about a month, but, hey, a good month is great! There is still, of course, some balancing with triggers, etc.
