I have been taking gabapentin for six months. 1200 mg per day. I suspect that this is causing irregular heartbeat because I have a fib and it seems to be triggered by the gabapentin.
could someone please tell me how to go about withdrawing from gabapentin?

You need to do so very slowly to avoid withdrawal effects. Reduce by100 - 200 mg every 2 weeks. If you do so you will have very few or no withdrawal effects.
