my psychiatrist wants me to start taking Ingrezza because he noticed a lot of tongue movement and some twitches during our session. Has anyone had any experience with this? I would like to know before I start taking this. Thanks everyone!

Ingressa is for facial movement caused by Huntingdons disease. Before you start, are you still on Ropinirole? Is your Psychiatrist aware that Ropinirole causes augmentation of RLS and the RLS to move to other body parts, including the face?

If you ARE still on Ropinirole, the face and tongue twitches will be caused by augmentation. I had all over body twitches caused by Ropinirole.

All anti depressants and anti psychotic meds trigger and worsen RLS.

I suggest you see an RLS expert or visit a Centre of Excellence and see a doctor who really knows about the disease and dopamine agonists.

You will then get the correct treatment, including an iron infusion, if necessary.

That is why I ask about this stuff. I will not take it until I see the doctor if I can see him. My money situation is not good right now so I may have to cancel. Anyway thank you! I knew I could count on you or Sue or Chris to help me out with this.

My whole face was affected by augmentation on Ropinirole. It was horrendous as you can't 'walk it off'.Ropinirole is poison in my opinion.

I'm so glad I'm off it.

You can start to reduce before you see a specialist. As Sue has advised, 0.25mg every 2 weeks.
