I don't personally believe that there's one absolute cure for all RLS sufferers: changes in diet certainly help some, including me to an extent, but don't help some others at all.

I spent a year on a strict paleo diet in the hope it would help both my RLS and my MS.It made zero difference.

Diet does help many people, but you'll know very quickly if it works.

And Dr Terry Wahls, who says she 'cured' her MS with diet, actually used strong MS medications to 'reset' her immune system. MS has now been strongly linked to Epstein Barr Virus, so diet won't cure it.

So, diet helps many people, particularly those who have 'triggers', but it is not a cure for the majority.

Interesting. Epstein Barr Virus which I had at 25 is also associated with Celiac Disease which I did develop years after EBV. Along the way I also developed RLS in the late 90s, but it was so mild, it didn't become a struggle until around 2012.

Your posts are always a wealth of information. I'm grateful for them.

2 sides - "great" everyone here is cured or should be! Or this sounds too good to be true....

And too often I hear "I have tried everything" .... except diet (like make everything you eat or drink yourself from fresh ingredients, no sugar and everything that it takes), exercise, walk in the sun (Vit D levels related to RLS), mindfulness, etc then supplements, devices and eventually medication. If it was easy the forum would not be here.
