Delighted for you.

I've tried all those ingredients with partial success.

The amounts in each tablet don't seem to be overly generous.

I take a lot more mg than they offer.

But, hey! If it works for you ,then yippee!😆👍

Thank you. It seems you've joined this site to spread the word. Most altruistic! 🙂

Hi acwhite,it all looks soo promising, unfortunately I'm in Ireland and it's not shipped internationally, I assume one could buy the stuff mentioned separately anyway good luck to you and I really hope this works for you long term.

Did you read the whole article? It much more than “too promising “, even if you just read the information and yes, you can buy the elements separately but even if you get a good probiotic, that will do nothing but good for you.

Thankyou Bramble2000,I certainly didn't mean to trivialise it in fact I checked on Amazon to see if I could buy this product as its not shipped to Ireland, I will definitely try the Probiotic and the others, I wish you well.

This is the only treatment that I've heard of which talks about the fundamental problem of inflammation (the cause rather than the symptoms) and without tackling that the supplement has no chance of working.

I've eliminated my RLS by removing as many causes of inflammation (like sugar, refined starch and refined seed oils) from my diet as I can and adding in foods which contain anti oxidants, and vitamins which have anti inflammatory effects, and this without any medication.

First time I’ve read about inflammation too.

Inflammation makes nerves hypersensitive which increases the sensations that cause restlessness and RLS. Google 'foods theat cause inflammation' and 'anti inflammatory vitamins'.

It also block iron from crossing the blood-brain barrier. So many people can test their ferritin levels(iron) and they will come back without a deficiency in the body.. but it can make its way up to the brain! Heme iron is great for this! It takes a different route for absorption! Annoyingly enough, even prescription iron is Non-heme which is very poor absorption!

Also due to the inflammation, dopamine receptors are blocked! RLS has alot to do not just with iron but dopamine. If they both can't be absorbed or received (including many of the prescription dopamine meds that might be prescribed for RLS). Anticonvulsant, muscles relaxers don't won't because that isnt the actual problem! It's a symptoms! You have to get to the root if the problem otherwise you still have plus the side effects from prescription meds on top of that.

Turmeric is an incredible antioxidant and anti-inflammatory! This and this particular strain of probiotic! You have to get the dose with all of these right otherwise they ARENT effective!

Inflammation also increases AC1 which affects how the body takes up iron compounding the pdoblem.

Tumeric can interfere with the absorption of iron so should be taken in the morning if one takes iron in the evening. The problem with heme iron is it can increase cancer rates and heart disease and most of the ones you can buy don't have enough elemental iron. The advantage is you can take it with food.

I did not know that Sue, thanks for the information.

Dehydration can amplify those overactive nerves as well!! Shoot for drinking at least 2 liters of water a day!

I've seen your report for years but didn't have the drive to eliminate sugar. A health scare force me on to a heart healthy diet which includes no added sugar, no lectins, no beef or poultry. But I have added fish and shellfish, olive oil, nuts, and certain veggies. Truthfully it's not very appetizing but I have actually been surprised that my restless leg have greatly improved. I went through two month period where it barely bothered me. Now it's a little more noticeable maybe 20% as bad as it used to be. Too late now but I wish I had listened to you earlier.

You'd be amazed at how much a little spice or chilli can do to make food more apetising, ginger is also an antioxidant, and if you can't handle the heat of chilli and ginger you can always add coconut milk to tone it down withiut loosing the flavour. If you're looking for a dessert, a mix of berries is nice and low in sugar and many berries like blueberries are high in antioxidants.

Also I've found that dairy milk can be inflammatory so keep your intake down. Green tea has antioxidants and requires no milk.

Seratame is a good product but, as Madlegs suggests - you can copy these ingredients and even improve on them. For B6, a better option is probably P5P (a more active form of B6). LP299V is a good RLS probiotic, the Jarrow brand has 10 billion CFU, compared to Seratame (1 billion). D3 and K2 in Seratame seem to be very low doses. You can purchase them separately in a higher dose (usually formulated together). Magnesium comes in many different forms - magnesium glycinate (in Seratame) is good for sleep, but perhaps add Magnesium L-Threonate (Magtein) as it reportedly crosses the blood brain barrier.

Utilizing single product doses lets you feather up or down the concentrations and timing to gauge and perhaps improve effectiveness.

The best way to get manesium is either soaking in Magnesium flakes/epsom salt. Through the skin is always the best absorption method!

Yeah I tried to piece together the ingredients in this product too originally but honestly it was tedious and more expensive. I didn't want take 8 different things vs 2 pills! But that's just me. I understand geographically shipping etc. Like I said, I don't work for the company but I definitely prefer holistic over pharmaceutical. I'd rather fix the overall problem n not mask it.

Hi, you sound like you know what you are talking about and that you are not on the make. I would be very grateful if you could recommend a product or multiple products I can try?

I appreciate that you have done that here but have used many Acronyms and metrics I am unfamiliar with. can you make some recommendations ?

I have just started using New Nordic's Magic Magnesium Malate 800 mg

Well, the first place I would start is to get a blood test for iron status, specifically Ferritin (the storage protein for iron). While iron deficiency in the brain is associated with RLS, the only test is serum (blood) tests for various factions of iron status including Ferritin, % saturation, Total Iron Binding Capacity, etc. Many RLS sufferers have high serum iron stores with severe RLS, but many people (like me) found dramatic relief with iron supplements (chiefly ferrous bisglycinate chelate). Here is more interpretation on iron test results...

I've had RLS for twenty years or so, suddenly got much worse this year, I also tried curcumin and it appears to be working reliably for three or four weeks now. I buy curcumin as a powder and add black pepper (essential for absorption), ginger, matcha (green tea) and an apple to make a smoothie.

My RLS hasn't woken me up since I started and the matcha appears to help me go back to sleep if I do wake up for some other reason. It could be the ginger, it could be the weather getting cooler, it could be something else but it does seem most probable to me that it is the curcumin.

I plan to reduce the dose after two months and see what happens, long term curcumin may not be a good idea because it's not that strong naturally and there is a paper detailing how it reduced iron in the body over extended time.

The way the literature is written this looks like they are exploiting desperate and vulnerable people, it may well work but I doubt it.
