So, I've finally stopped taking the ropinirole - last taken 2 weeks ago having reduced very gradually. Now taking 150mg pregabalin and that's been fine until the last couple of days however RLS has started kicking off again! I'm so disappointed as it really seemed I'd turned a corner. I guess I need now to increase the pregabalin and, if so, how and by how much? As my prescription is for 150mg capsules I can't break them up.Thanks in advance for all advice.

Ask your doctor for 25mg pregabalin pills and increase by 25mg every night and monitor the effects. You may find splitting the dose extends its effectiveness. So maybe 150mg at your usual time and add the increases of 25 mg just before you fall asleep. Also ensure your serum ferritin is above the recommended levels.

Since you have only been off the ropinirole for 2 weeks the withdrawal effects from that may still be kicking in. 150 mg is a low dose. The usual advice I give is to increase by 25 mg every couple of nights.
