My Pharmacy has been messing around with my ropinirole. The last batch I collected was in a small round container and the pills were so tiny. I take 0.5mg x 5 tablets per night (total 2.5g) the normal round pills worked just fine. Now these weeny little ones are making my rls bad again, I fail to see how they can have the same level of drug in them? Adartrel do the same, I have to have pure ropinirole flat round ones. Please tell me I am not going mad!

What are the imprints on the tablets on both sides?
The tiny ones only have an indent in the middle and the Adartrel have a small knobble either side. I don't have any branded ropinirole at the moment.
I checked the Adartrel ones. They are film coated. You may be reacting to one of the inactive ingredients: lactose monohydrate, microcrystalline cellulose, croscarmellose sodium, magnesium stearate
The film coat contains hypromellose, macrogol 400, titanium dioxide (E171), iron oxide yellow (E172),
iron oxide red (E172), indigo carmine aluminium lake (E132)
The regular ropinirole contains citric acid anhydrous powder, croscarmellose sodium, lactose anhydrous, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate
The film coating contains Hypromellose (E464), Titanium dioxide (E171), Macrogol 400, Talc (E553b)
Some are the same, but there are differences. And of course the amounts are tiny.
You're not. Different brands do appear to have different effects. Many people report it.
