Some of these devices assume you have only leg symptoms. I have arm involvement. So that makes me think they are not all that useful.

Thanks, it has not gotten to my arm yet… praise God. What do you use for relief?

I'm on tramadol but I was just prescribed methadone so we will see how that works.

Are you taking any medicines for your RLS?

Not officially. I have been using some rescue medicine for seizures. It’s Clonazepam a dopamine agonists. But I’m about to lose my mind. I have an appointment with my neurologist for a post brain cancer operation December 7th which I will run out at the same time. He is very conservative on meds which I like, but this I think I will have to get a little pushy on.

I am on 3 anti seizure medications down from 5. I am off of phenobarbital after 2 years. My surgeon had me off of it in a month. It was way too fast even according to my neurologist. From 210 mg. I knew it was too fast so I tapered slower but unfortunately my rls had started. He put me on Dilantin in July for the second surgery and I will be off of that this week. I’m hoping by December 7th I have a noticeable improvement.

I am a retired paramedic/firefighter and have seen a lot of bad things with people being on prescription medications so I have been trying everything. But I think I am going to have to go the medication route for the sleep and healing of cancer.
