Gabapentin and breathing

I have been taking gabapentin about 10 months now and I am up to 1500 mg.

I have recently felt like I am congested and not getting a full breath. I am 74 years old and wondering if this could be linked to the high dose I’m taking. Feelings anyone?

A tightness in your throat or chest and trouble breathing can be rare side effects. I would check with your doctor.

Breathing problems and RLS can be caused by systemic inflammation. Systemic inflammation is often caused by eating too many High GI foods like white bread and other processed foods which cause insulin spikes or ingesting refined seed oils.
