see this online, I am going to cut down first and ignore this link,but just wondered what your thoughts were ?

I think it depends largely on how long you have been taking the pramipexole and in addition whether you are experiencing tolerance, or worse signs of augmentation. In any case, in our collective experience it is usually better to reduce slowly, by max 0.088 mg or half of that. Wait then until increased symptoms settle, which may be a few days but may last two weeks or more. And then do the next reduction. Going slow will most likely reduce the agony. Often though, especially after long use of pramipexole, the withdrawal process is and remains difficult throughout. In that case an opioid may help to get through. Tramadol is often prescribed during this. If you can't get a prescription, otc cocodamol, or cannabis or kratom are usually helpful.

Amd always check you iron status first and take iron if not counterindicated.

Spend some time reading older posts and advices on reduction of pramipexole or ropinirole. You'll learn quickly.

Ridiculous. I was only on 0.175 daily and tapered off too fast within 2 weeks. I just wanted it to be over. Even though the restless legs has subsided I was left with bouts of depression and anxiety. 3 weeks after completely stopping I went into psychosis for 4 days. I slept 18 hours each day and had mass panic. I only came out of it by reading up on Dopamine withdrawal and took a quarter tablet and within an hour started feeling normal again. I'm now back up to half a tablet and reducing much slower.

Exactly! Always let your body tell you how fast to go down.

I get an "Error 403 Forbidden The web app you have attempted to reach has blocked your access." however I was able to find it by another means.

I agree with others. If you search this forum you will find the suffering by many people as they tried to come off pramipexole. Since I can't find the actual study, my guess is that the participants weren't on it long.

I tried to ween of pramipexole and you are so right it is extremely hard the last 3 nights no sleep, its like my worst nightmare as I have to go to work at 5am every morning, Decided to stay on prami until next February when I retire so I can at least sleep during the day,

Is there anything that can be taken to help me get through the nights ?

That certainly makes sense to stay on pramipexole until then. You could take a low level opioid at night if you are able to get one prescribed, or try kratom or THC or CBD gummies. Kratom is banned in the UK. But Joolsg said one can buy it from kraatje.eu/contents/en-us/d... and they are discreet. Then there are the non- medical things. Some things that can make RLS symptoms worse for some people are alcohol, nicotine, caffeine, sugar, carbs, foods high in sodium, foods that cause inflammation, ice cream, estrogen, dehydration, electrolyte imbalance, melatonin, stress and vigorous exercise. Some things that help some people include caffeine, moderate exercise, weighted blankets, compression socks, masturbation, magnesium glycinate, low oxalate diet, selenium, 5 minute shower alternating 20 seconds cold water with 10 seconds hot water finishing with hot water for another couple of minutes, hot baths, distractions, applying a topical magnesium lotion or spray, doing a magnesium salts soak, vitamins B1, B3, B6, B12, D3, K2, if deficient, and potassium if deficient, massage including using a massage gun, using a standing desk, listening to music and yoga. Another one is Hylands Restfulllegs - I tried it and it worked several months before it stopped working.
