side effect of Pregabalin ?

I have been taking Pregabalin for 11 weeks and am on 200mg which I take at about 7 o/clock but think I may need to increase as now getting less effective. My problem is I have very swollen feet and ankles which I think is side effect of the pregabalin plus the hot weather. Does anyone else get this? Is it likely to get worse if I increase the dose?

That is edema and can be a side effect. I have it. If one has it, it usually is at higher doses like the 200 mg you are on, but I haven't noticed it getting any worse when I took more. It is a nuisance but well worth it for the relief I get. I have tried OTC diuretics which you might want to try, but they didn't help. I decided not to go with a prescription diuretic after talking to my doctor. Drinking lots of water helps, although it seems counterintuitive.

Thanks for your reply Sue. I do agree with you it's a small price to pay for sleep. I think I've heard before about drinking water, it does seem strange but will give it a try I know I don't drink enough at the moment.
