I have been getting a sensation in my whole body of getting a good electric shock. When it really gets going my head feels buzzy and like I might pass out. I have peripheral neuropathy in arms, hand, feet and legs, rls, something is going on with my skin, and fibromyalga.

I'm wondering if it's a sezure. Jobs the last 2 years have been impossible for me to keep. In my teens I had 2 pt and 1 fullitme jobs.

there where no med changes when it started.

please let me know your thoughts. Ty

See a neurologist.

That doesn't sound good and as far as I know totally unrelated to RLS. I agree withSue that you should contact your doctor.

Did you do a morning fasted full iron panel? Do you fidget a lot? rub your feet? Have a need to get out of bed 10 minutes after getting in bed? I mean get out of bed NOW.

A doctor would most definitely be a good idea.

I agree with SueJohnson and LotteM. If you have healthcare and can afford to see a neurologist you should definitely do so. What you’re describing sounds scary, painful, and potentially dangerous.

I also have electric shock feelings but they’re rare, fleeting, and very specific. Like, I can pinpoint where the shock starts and the course it takes down my body (and when I google it, it seems like it likely follows the path of a single nerve). But never the whole body at once. I can’t even imagine would that would be like. I wish I could make suggestions about what it might be but I’ve never talked to any doctor about it so I am clueless. I also have issues with dizziness and have passed out and/or blacked out before (my doctors don’t know why this happens). And buzzing in my head (which I attribute to THC usage-I don’t know what meds you’re on though).

What do you mean when you say “something is going on” with your skin? Is it constant? Or do you relate it to your electric shock sensations?

If it is a type of seizure, I bet there is some type of medication out there that could help. I really hope you’re able to see a specialist. That sounds like a lot to deal with. Please keep us posted.

Are you on any medications for depression or anxiety, e.g. SSRIs or benzodiazepines?

I was just watching a panel of doctors, nurses, scientists, researchers, and others discussing the pandemic response. A woman who had been part of the initial trials was relaying her experiences, including an electric shock feeling you are describing. She had further issues, from paralysis of her legs, sensitivity to many foods, etc. If you’ve had the C vaccine, there could possibly be a connection.
