Ad hoc Pregabalin

I’ve been taking Pregabalin since October last year, and generally it’s working well for me. I have 275mg an hour before bed, and although I do usually wake up for an hour or so in the night, I get a decent nights sleep.

However, once or twice a week, I wake up but cannot get back to sleep.

On those occasions, I wondered if I could take some more Pregabalin (maybe 25 or 50mg) to see me through the night?

I would increase it to 300 mg and take it every night, not just when you wake up as it needs time to work and why have to wake up at all when you don't need to. 300 mg is certainly an acceptable dose and is not near the maximum of 450 mg.

Hi Sue,

Many thanks for you reply, and all your posts to others that helps me get to grips with RLS.

I’ll try increasing my dosage and see how I get on.

Kind regards
