I'm so sorry to hear this. It sounds awful.

I appreciate what it must feel like going through this.

I do note that you're reducing the ropinirole so this would appear to be withdrawal effects.

An opioid if you can get a prescription, would help. Codeine or tramadol.

The withdrawal effects should subside and hopefully you've started on an altetnative to the ropinirole.

Thank you , yes I am now on Pregabalin and co-codamol …next battle will be Sinemet but that’s not yet thank goodness .

So sorry, I can sympathise, but wonder whether one might then experience ‘phantom limb’ RLS! Who knows!

I hope your doctor will prescribe an opioid to get you through. Hang on in there. Lots of people on here have gone through the same and have come out the other end. There is hope.x

Thanks very much for your supportive message , I am weaning off Ropinerole and it’s harder than I thought it would be although I was well warned by the super people here . It me all my powers of persuasion to get him to prescribe co-codamol! He did switch me from Gabapentin to Pregabalin . Never try to make any decisions when in this sleep deprived state ….I speak from experience 😏

Have you thought of taking control????? Have you felt those legs in tyhe foot, outside lower lwgsw, calf top, sides and bottom of the upper legs. Hum!!!no one said to?>>> Your mind has the strongest signal. Not medicine. Wow! No Kidding. My legs jumped. Run your thunbs or hands deeo. Especially over the 4th and 5th toes to the ankle. Sore> what are you going to do. Do0c give me a pill quick. Why not press down on that soreness until it aches. Hold, hold, hold, hold, it slowly goes away and the muscle underneath gets soft. Wonders of wonders. That was a tringger point. Now pull and stretch and old at different lengths. Wow. did you feel the release. now knead and roll and vibrate with you hands, Wow. Rub your knees, pull upon the knees and the stretch will go into the foot. Put your foot on a stool. Grip over. and straighten the leg, fles down with the foot and pull in. Feel the top and outside of thye foot tender. Hold, Hold, Hold. Myofascia Release. Wow. Same to mid thigh. Half and hour to 1 hr. sleep good. But what do I know. I had jerks no one Knew. I am a retired Physical Therapist. What do the pills do Take away pain, relax, make you feel good. Don't want to help yourself?? eat a fist full of pills instead.
