Glad it helps you. However, many people report that coffee ( both caffeine & decaf) helps their RLS. Just goes to show we are all different.Finding your trigger is half the battle.

Is this round the clock or no caffeine in the after 3 PM. I drink some green tea in the morning. And, no caffine after 10 AM. However, this seemed interesting since I eat yoghurt at night. I plan to give it up.

"Avoid these foods before bed

For reasons that aren’t quite clear, tobacco, caffeine and alcohol before bedtime are known to bring on bouts of restless legs, Dr. Vensel-Rundo says. Dairy products and foods heavy in sugar have also been reported to trigger restless legs."

This came from the Mayo Clinic

This is great!

I've used rooibos in the past There are varioius brands. There's even a Tetley's version.

It's not actually tea. It comes from a different plant. It's not as if it"s had caffeine removed, there just isn't any in it.

I found that there was enough caffeine in decaf tea or coffee to give me my RLS back so I started on warm water. its a bit strange at first but after a while it seems natural. In my case I had already given up lactose. One allergy specialist told me to avoid absolutely all lactose for a while so I went to rice milk and then oat-milk with my coffee. I used to drink a huge number of cups of coffee daily and now I regret the money I spent on the stuff. I still like the thought of a delicious cuppa but happy to trade it for a good night's sleep.

I keep changing my diet to be more restrictive and each time that improves my RLS for a few months and it sneaks back. Very mild but enough to cost a hours sleep. RLS worsens with age so it might just be that I'm getting older. In the fullness of time I might find that I have to accept some drugs. I worry less about this than I used to because I am so grateful to the people here who give good advice on drugs and dosages
