Hi why does my mouth and Tonge move all the time

Are you taking a dopamine agonist like Ropinirole or Pramipexole?

I believe this is tardive dyskinesia and it's usually caused by a class of drugs known as neuroleptics.

It's due to the blocking of dopamine receptor sites in this case.

What medications are you taking?

You do need to consult a doctor.

I have the same problem and think it’s nerve related? Also do you suffer with dry mouth?

This may be completely off base, but thought I would mention in case it helps someone. My daughter does not have RLS but she had the tongue twitching and her tongue would even roll on it’s own like it had something inside of it moving around. It started about 2 yrs after getting breast implants along with other terrible symptoms. She didn’t even relate it to the implants until she learned about BII (Breast Implant Illness). She had them removed and immediately the tongue twitching stopped along with other side effects.
