You need to see a doctor, these symptoms appear to be neuropathic,

I have symptoms like those described by shazzafloyd and have been referred to a Neurologist.

Hello shazzafloyd. My GP thought it may be peripheral neuropathy, maybe you could ask for a referral. 🙂

Good, that's probably a good plan.

I think you need to speak in detail with your doctor. I see you suffer from anxiety and a lot of your symptoms may be linked to that. Ask for blood tests to rule out thyroid issues which can cause anxiety and pins and needles. It doesn't sound like RLS.

I too have pain in my legs that appears to be related to RLS since it started at the same time and is worse in my right leg which is the one affected most by RLS, but no one believes it is related - not my doctor nor those on this forum, nor research on the internet. But I agree with the other responses that yours does not appear to be RLS and you should see a neurologist.

I have exactly the same problem. I have had it for years and it was gradually getting worse. I have had scans and am told it is spinal stenosis. Coming from my spine. Basically wear and tear and narrowing of spinal canal.

I had surgery for spinal stenosis a few years ago. It causes severe sciatica, as it’s the sciatic nerve that’s compressed. I still suffer from sciatica pain and always have pins and needles in my right foot. Thankfully the pain is nothing like as bad as it was pre-surgery, but still very uncomfortable at times.

However, it’s not related to RLS which I’ve suffered from all my life. Two completely different causes and conditions.

Yes see a neurologist as others have said - in the meantime try upping your magnesium, and check this page as it gives some very good supplements for neuropathy. It can't hurt to try and could possibly help. healthline.com/health/neuro...
