Can sensitivity to certain foods/alcohol increase over time? I used to be able to drink alcohol and have sweets. They now are triggers.

Definitely. When I was younger I didn't realize the connection between food and alcohol and rls. But as I aged and became more aware of these connections it became so obvious. After awhile you become even more hyper sensitive because you kind of expect the worst outcome. Alcohol for me is by far the worst. And salty meals.

Same here. A glass of wine at 5:00 or so and the RLS acts up at bedtime.

It may not just be you're becoming more sensitive, but your RLS may be getting worse as you get older.

Not what you're looking for?

I leave it on all night and shower off next morning. Have had nine weeks relief now, just as good...
