Well I’m 7 weeks into coming off Pipexus and it’s really tough. My doctor has given me Oxycodone and is phoning me every fortnight and has a plan when I’m off it.
I just hope these legs will give me some peace as I’m standing all the time and getting very little sleep
I’m determined to do it but this last bit is worse than the start

Coming off it needs to be done very slowly and by the smallest possible increments.
If you are on long acting/ extended release pills, see if they can be changed to shorter term ones. These may then be cut to make smaller individual doses.
The oxycodone will certainly help. In fact ,they should take away most of the withdrawal effects. You could ask about extended release version ( Oxycontin) but to be aware that for many people, OXY only lasts about 8 hrs.
I hope you get through this episode in your life successfully.
Minimum of 3 months is essential for a safe withdrawal from Pramipexole. Go slowly and as Madlegs suggests, OxyContin may be better to ensure 24 hours coverage of withdrawal symptoms.
You're doing really well so make sure you are acknowledging that every day is an achievement. Small steps all leading to a better time ahead, so keep going. I wish you all the very best.
I wouldn't have survived withdrawal without my husband. He stayed up 3 nights with me massaging my legs to distract me from the non stop jerking. It worked as I actually fell asleep for an hour while he was doing it and he just carried on. It's always harder to see your loved ones suffer than to go through it. Things will get better. I am so glad I stuck at it and got off that poison. I still get RLS but never in the day and it's much milder and only affects my legs. Most people who have managed to get off DAs will never touch them again. Stay strong, everyone is cheering you on. It's 3.30am here in England so will try to sleep now- my days/nights have never managed to get back to normal since Ropinirole but I'm aiming to remedy that.
