Are you certain nothing has changed?

I would be surprised if some trigger hasn't been eliminated for some reason.🤪🧐

I am glad for you, but very surprised. I would be envious but I note you say you haven't changed your meds. I take it this means you're taking some RLS medication?

Detective Manerva is wondering if you've changed brands, same med, different brand.

That's a thought... I don't take anything for RLS because everything I have tried makes it worse... But I do take diabetic meds... I will investigate...

Some diabetic meds can make RLS worse.

But only if you've recently stopped taking one, would that explain the sudden improvement.

It's unusual for all meds that are used to treat RLS to make RLS worse. I'm not clear why they'd make RLS worse if they've been tested as effective for RLS. What meds have you tried?

Not that I'm suggesting you start taking one, I'm just curious.

I have had this happen previously and would strongly encourage you to forensically examine everything for the last few months. Unless you are a denier of cause and effect, there is something that has changed and this could be key for your RLS. Everything you consumed, activity, sleep patterns, events in your life; there will be something.

From my experience if you have a physical element, it can take weeks for that to resolve so your key timeline starts from before around two weeks ago.

I had the opposite occur and it took over a year to finally work out what caused my occasional RLS to be constant and severe.

'Lifestyle' is a big term, covering many possible variables. What have you considered as part of your 'lifestyle'?

Diet, exercise, changes to routine, work, personal stuff, medication... I'm confused but loving my sleep again

One cause or rls can be inflammation of the nerves fom high blood sugar and insulin, heavy metal poisonong or some other cause. The inflammation can take a couple of years to subside fully, so it could be a minor change that happened long ago and has been forgotten about.

A couple of weeks or so ago you posted that you had purchased Restiffic foot wraps and you had noticed good improvement in symptoms since then.

A miracle! :) I don't know how old you are, but maybe your body changed in some way (hormones?) that took away your RLS trigger. Nobody knows what the actual chemical triggers are, so that's a possibility. I know advancing age (I am 54) turned me from a night owl to a morning person.
