Meds to help our LS suffers sleep

I have also been on Mirapex and gabapentin I take three gabapentin at night (Per Dr.‘s orders )and Mirapex augmented after a year so it doesn’t work anymore

I just wish so much somebody would find a solution to this RLS nightmare

Hi, I'm sorry to hear you seem to be suffering. It would help in getting relevant suggestions if you clarified a few things.

Can you confirm that by "our LS" you mean RLS? Or is "LS" something else.

Are you still taking mirapex or did you stop this?

You're taking "3" gabapentin, but what strength are they, 100mg, 300mg or more? It may be that you're not taking a big enough dose.

What other medications are you taking? A lot of medications can make RLS worse.

I wonder what non-medical remedies you've tried?

I'm afraid that it's not possible to find a perfect solution for RLS that works equally well for everyone and I sympathise with your frustration.

Does zzz quill/night quill make RLS worse??

About a year ago I weened myself off pramipexole and then played around with the gabapentin (with gp's agreement) till I was able to reduce my dose from 3x300mg to 2x300mg which I take around 6pm & midnight (bedtime).

Tried to go lower but symptoms started.

At the moment the Gabapentin is controlling the RLS.
