I have been in Sifrol for 15 months and find it works really well. I am on 1.05 dosage but occasionally use a 0.018 to supplement this. I still sometimes have to walk in the late evening but usually have no problems sleeping. I'm not saying it's the ultimate solution but it's worth trying and I have had no side effects unlike the patches which gave me a badly upset tummy.

Sifrol
That's great news for you.
Sifrol is Pramipexol/ Mirapex to many of us not in OZ.😝
It is part of the Dopamine Agonist family, which can be very effective, initially for rls, but there is a nasty sting in the tail.
It can be great for a long time, 10 years, or a short time, months.
Then it starts not being as effective. This is called Augmentation.
Do not increase the dose, or change to another DA.
Instead, research augmentation and educate your medical team.
I hope you have a good experience for many years to come.
Thanks for posting.😎
Hi, I am guessing, or at least hoping the dose of pramipexole you mention 1.05 is a mistake. I am presuming this is 1.05 mg. If so, I am further guessing this is the normal release version, in which case it should perhaps be 1.5 mg ( a multiple of 0.125mg. equivalent to 0.088mg)
if this is true, then without taking the extra 0.125 (0.088), you are taking a massive dose i.e. over twice the recommended maximum for RLS.
This puts you at severe risk of suffering from augmentation and sooner rather than later.
Since you already find you have to take the extra, this is probably already beginning.
If my guesses are correct then I suggest you read up about augmentation then seek further advice about avoiding it.
