Should I be concerned about getting off baclofen
Hi, There won't be many people in this forum that can tell you their experiences of Baclofen
It isn't recommended or commonly used for managing RLS.
It's fairly clear that the precautions you need to take to withdraw from baclofen are the same as for any potent dependency producing medication.
Do NOT suddenly stop taking it.
The slower you withdraw, the better. This mean reducing the dose of it in small steps. You could this by either getting the smallest dose tablets possible and by cutting them. in pieces. NOTE it may not be safe to do this if they are slow release tablets. If you take the liquid, you can measure out small amounts.
You can take the steps at relatively shorter or longer periods of time. It's usually better to do it slower than you may read is recommended. i.e. over weeks rather than days.
I read that baclofen withdrawal is relatively easy with oral baclofen as long as you taper it off slowly. It might be wise however, to seek proper medical advice, it appears that withdrawal effects can be dangerous.
The minimum you might experience, apparently is itching.
