Has anyone tried a Bemer mat? I have just splashed out and ordered one. I will update results.

I googled it and it sounds interesting, let us know if it works for you, and what symptoms were relieved. I paid $700 for a Relaxis pad, and it worked somewhat, like in the car a few times it helped. But on the whole, it didn't work consistently in the way I needed, and I worked my up gradually to stronger medicines. Maybe it would help sometimes as an adjunct to medicine. I hope it works for you. I tried a grounding sheet ( supposed to ‘earth’ your body) and magnetic shoe inserts and neither helped.

However, someone did post a while ago that a magnetic mattress had really helped their RLS so you may gain some benefit. After all, certain meds work well for some but not for others. We all respond differently.

I saw a Bemer mat on ebay second hand and it’s really expensive(£thousands) so I think it’s only for those who have a lot of money to risk.

Thanks for letting us know you are trying this out. It sounds very innovative but they have been around for a long time and that alone gives them some credibility. We all want it to work for you and we will be looking forward to any snippet of news you can tell us.
