RLS Private Specialist in UK -Looking For Info

Hi all,

I am looking to find a private rls specialist in the UK as I am really suffering and willing to find the cash to pay for a specialist who knows what they are talking about so I can get on the road to managing this condition ASAP.

I live in North Wales but will travel to see the right dr.

Hi all, I guess finding a specialist here in the UK is going to be difficult. I have searched online and within this community.

I will continue looking but if any members here find one I would be really grateful for any info.

Hi Andy,

Sorry you didn’t seem to receive a response to your initial post.

There are very few RLS experts in the UK- clearly not as interesting for neurologists as MS, Parkinsons etc.

I see Professor Choudhuri at Kings College Hospital London but the waiting list is very long ( I waited 9 months) and you see his registrar initially with telephone follow ups every 6 months.

Kirstie Anderson in Newcastle is also very good and speaks regularly at the RLS UK AGM.

I don’t know of any experts nearer to you but maybe someone will add comments later.
