On enquiring about cannabis we were told that he had only 1 patient out of about 40 whom it helped.

Caffeine use discouraged too.

Well I have several friends who use it for everything from Period cramps through to menopause, RLS to ME to MS, Pain chronic insomnia, diabetes, anxiety and depression to asthma.

Those against cannabis use/regulation are those with a vested interested in keeping the pharmaceutical drugs flowing!

Hi Goodfairy,

I tried cutting out tea, had camomile tea before bed, peppermint tea and turmeric tea during the day. Started gradually with the camomile. My rls and sleep was worse .Returned to PG tips at bedtime and my usual routine returned. So, cutting out caffeine made no improvement for me.

RLS is so individual I think.

What may work for one person doesnt help another.

Personally I think the mental aspects if the syndrome are significant.

And I feel so sorry for young people who suffer who are trying to hold down a job and probably getti g very little sleep
