Only you can stop the emails. Go to your avatar and settings and un-tick the relevant boxes regarding being sent emails/updates. You must have requested to receive them when you joined the forum.

Kaarina covered it. You HAVE to have signed up for it. They do not just start sending you emails. Good luck! :)

as far as I could detect my emails just started appearing from nowhere! Some search or something must have listed RLS at some point and then somehow healthunlocked started messaging me!

I don't know what it's original source was but it was so fascinating that I signed up for an account I think. i don't remember giving permission but I presume I must have somehow!
