Severe Full body RLS with no health ins.

I have had RLS since I was a kid long before they even knew what it was. It has gotten so much worse. I am in so much pain and I have no insurance so my doctor won't refill my prescriptions. Anyone know a way of getting some relief?

Can you afford to pay for your prescriptions on your own? I don't understand why the doctor will not renew your prescriptions as long as you can pay for them. Where are you located?

Yes I can. I have been using the GoodRX app so the meds were only $35. She says she won't prescribe them because I hadn't been seen in 9 months and likes to monitor her patients.

When its all over I'd be thinking the prescribed drugs could be making it worse.

What drugs were you taking?

Many here get relief taking iron in the evening on an empty stomach and many get relief with cannabis too. Could be areas for exploration, search for gentle iron in search bar at top right of screen.

Not to be too personal but I can't take iron cause I have issues with my stomach that cause severe constipation.on meds for that too that I can't get because of insurance as well . Doctors know they have you over a barrel. It's really not right. The only thing positive is that I am forced to find more natural ways like change in diet and natural remedies.

Have you tried magnesium oil? It really helps with my pain (and even sometimes with the uncomfortable sensations).
