As soon as I stopped drinking or eating anything with artificial sweeteners, my RLS got much better.

I try to avoid artificial sweeteners, but get relief by avoiding sugary foods.

It will do as there linked to MS symptoms!

Aspartamine turns into wood alcohol/formalhyde in our bodies which is embalming fluid!

Messes up your pancreas and is very bad for diabetics along with stopping your body absorbing vitamins

I steer clear of as much of this crap as possible since been found have pituitary tumour and had hormone issues esp after being put on T! always on the look out.

That's a very good reminder, thank you. I don't know about the rest of you but when I'm very tired, which unfortunately is always, I tend to grab any old food, especially something sweet, and on round the vicious circle I go .......:

yes artificial sweeteners are a bad idea, as they cause releases of hormones that prepare the body to use up sugar which isn't there, so they mess up the body's regulatory systems.

I limit all sugar consumption to 25-30 grams daily. HUGE difference in my healing. Research Herx reactions. It's a true toxic withdrawal response to sugar addiction and a holistic practitioner can help you get through it. I am fortunate enough to have a fabulous holistic neurologist.
