Ok. So I have Restless legs, arms, shoulders, in fact I have Restless legs everywhere at times. The story of most of my 67 years on the Earth. So I manage it Ropinerole and lyrica. Doesn't always work but believe me, i have tried every supplement that has been recommended. I even have compression socks and it worked for a while but then I couldn't sit long enough to let them work. So when the Restless Legs is having a "flare up", I fill a basin of COLD water or if I am not I home, I shower or run a bath and paddle!!! This works for me. It is not nice and strangely the water and my feet feel warm afterwards. Also I lie on my tummy. This also seems to work for me. But I still panic if I forget to take my Ropinerole at 4pm. So that's my story and how Restless Legs dictates my life. Whoever out there can make a Cure, will be a billionaire. Wish and dream of waving a wand and abracadabra, "Restless Legs BEGONE". Good luck everyone as I as watching and waiting. Yours restlessly L.

I've found the basin of cold water a life-save some nights. I've had great relief walking barefoot in the snow too.

I too find laying on my stomach on a hard floor helps a little.

I've also found some relief from lying on my stomach, even in bed! Doesn't always work, but it's great when it does. RLS is so strange!

I get into a panic a few days before my Ropinerole script is due every month as I have been prescribed over the normal dose and it's sometimes a battle to get it even though it's been prescribed by a highly qualified Neurologist. I think the panic brings in the RLS sometimes. I have had good results with homemade magnesium oil though which is a real blessing so thank you whoever first put that on here.
