I did a 10 day trail as a test and it did work to resolve the symptoms. You need to find "body high" weed. There are many type of high, but if you can get a good person they can usually tell you what the specific strain of weed will do. Get the one that is for a body high. I used a vapourizer so not to start smoking it. I will say you did have to get pretty high for it to work. You would not be able to do anything else while using this approach.
I'm going to guess the body high one is an Indica strain, which would match my on findings.
I have tried high THC/low CBD, High THC/High CBD, Low THC/High CBD stains and what worked well for me was the High THC with or without the high CBD meaning for me it was the THC that did the trick.
It can be very strain specific so one might not work but the nest one will. I found Sensi Star a good one along with Strawberry Cough.
Also early harvested ones aren't as good as those that have been let 'ripen' longer. All in all it can be hit and miss, but at least the trial and error isn't unappealing
Regarding the withdrawal, go slow - drop too quickly and the withdrawals can become uncomfortable. Some great advice on this thread:
Look for the posts from that sexy, intelligent and dare I say it well endowed member called raffs - if Madlegs1 suggest it is him, while his posts are always intelligent and some what sexy I can't vouch for his manhood A properly planned withdrawal shouldn't be too bad; keep your eye on the prize, try and keep a sense of humour and remember all is temporary.
I am where you are right now, except GP has refused me pain relief for withdrawal and help with insomnia. Have not had more than 2-3 hours sleep per night for many weeks. In fact I am in A&E right now with chest pain radiating down left arm. I really hope you get the help you need and deserve. All good wishes. X
Yes, I have tried it but never could afford enough to really test it more than a few days. I found someone who was able to get organically grown locally and gave me enough to make an elixir (not sure if I did it correctly or it it works) and keep some in natural state to experiment with as needed. So here I am in the middle of this test and I am sleeping 8-9 hours which is amazing and have decreased my opioids and sleeping pills.
I use marijuana for my RLS but mainly to help induce sleep. I don't find it all that effective against the urge-to-move symptoms (I use kratom for these - it might help while you are coming off mirapexin). I'm not sure marijuana will be enough to deal with the greatly increased symptoms which you will experience coming off mirapexin and actually I'm not surprised to hear that codeine is not working either. You really need tramadol or oxycontin for that immediate post mirapexin period - though as I say kratom may also be worth a try. After you have eliminated mirapexin you might find mmj works.
