I seem to have to have missed the original bit but can you elaborate on sun and RLS please?

Hi

I had read a couple of reports that the prevalence of RLS is less in Asia.

I caught your last post didn't recognise the Aisa reference from the title. Big fan of sunlight, we get it for a couple of days most years in Ireland.

Well more sunlight or sunshine...? More sunshine will give us Vit.D but not read that vit d will help RLS...?

Well I come from Turkey :) and I know plenty of people that have RLS. My RLS all started when I was in Turkey for holiday (live in UK now). It was about 40 degree :) so not sure if I agree with this post! :)

B.

Is there a possibility that it is down to a lower rate of reporting? I have seen a study relating to rls treatment in India which certainly suggested that it was not uncommon there - though in fairness it didn't give statistics.

Well, since Primary RLS is genetic, perhaps it is not so prevalent in Asia as less people have the gene for it.
