RLS OR PARKINSONS???

Hello again, like me, did anyone else's GP suspect at first that you may have PARKINSONS disease???

No as my mother and grandmother had RLS so I knew what it was and told my GP what I had!

No I have seen three physicians over the past thirty years regarding my RLS and no one has even suggested I have Parkinsons. I do understand that RLS is in the same family as Parkinson.

No, i knew i had RLS as i inherited it from my father. RLS and Parkinson's are both very different conditions, even tho we take their meds. If your doctor has suggested Parkinsons to you, then he doesnt know the symptoms of RLS.

No Parkinsons, but for years the doctors were trying to convince me I had sleep problems - went to sleep clinics, etc. for a while. Very frustrating but at least now most doctors recognize it as a legitimate problem.

Rls is common in Parkinsons, that is probably why he was suspecting you had both.
