Help
Have u tried to take two at a time instead of the one might help better I take two at a time and find they help
Thanks Tracey that's what I will do let you know how it goes x
Yes try taking 2 together Beady RLS does tend to have times when it is worse than others so you may be able to drop down on other nights,Just play it by ear on a day to day basis x
Hi
I was taking two sometime between 5.00am and 7.00am. I was taking them for pain in my legs, I also took 1 around 2.00pm then 2 at 7.30 pm. The evening ones very much lessened the urge to walk around. I am now on a 1mg Neupro patch but still take 1 tramadol in the morning as before and 2 at 7.30pm. I was very keen to reduce the tramadol dose because of what I had heard about withdrawal. I aim to get rid of the tramadol if I can and go up to the 2mg Neupro patch but I want to wait until I see the neurologist next. I am sure going up to 2 would be as you will still be within the 8 daily maximum.
I have had RLS since I was little. It is a terrible affliction which when it's really bad I get in my arms too. My grandmother, who I sometimes slept with when little, helped me by getting me to firstly wriggle my toes and to keep doing that until they were tired and to then slowly work my way up my body flexing and wriggling as I went. It was kind of meditative and helped and I still try to practice that. Although it doesn't always work...
Beady you are taking the slow release Tramadol is that right..? Does your leaflet give any info on how you take the doses...?
Hi Elisse yea I'm still around causing trouble How are You ? I'm on the Fibro site now You done so much for me thank you xx
Hello trouble. I hope the Fibro members are coping with you.

All I will say is :). Beady I hope the meds are working better for you. Each day can be an "adventure".
I take 2 Tramadol about 4.00 p.m. and 2 about 9.00 p.m. This seems to be working well for me at the moment. I also take 2mg Requip XL in the evening. Good luck and I hope taking a little extra helps you.
Hello beady I'm still around but I'm on the Fibromygia form now how are you doing Andrex
Nice to hear from you, what happened to your rls did it just go on its own maybe you can tell us. X
Beady, Erona was misdiagnosed apparently. He never did have RLS, as he never had that urge to move like we do. Some of us helped him to work that out.
He never had RLS, which we kinda figured out the last "go-round".
hi beady3 just scrolling through messages & came across yours, I know that you swore by tramadol it worked for me for awhile then I started itching like mad, last week was horrendous, (trying to wean myself of dopamine) its a killer. at the moment I've been of dopamine know for 1week I am taking oxynorm+ half of clonazepam up till know it seems to be doing the trick, I didn't know you could take oxynorm with clonazepam it was pippin2 that told me to try it & up till know it seems to have worked, oxynorm is an opiate drug & I am allergic to opiates, when I first started to take this, (oxynorm) I was itching constantly all the time so had to stop it.but last week I was really really desperate for some sleep, so tried the oxy again & found I wasn't as bad with the itching this time around,if you think by taking an extra tramadol will help I would see what you DR says first, are you not sleeping? Or is it just that your legs are on the move 24/7.
Glad you are getting it sorted Connie,I am doing ok on the 2 tabs 50 mg it's just sometimes I have a blip and the legs go mad no trouble with sleeping if the legs behave good luck to you hope you get sorted x
hi beady3
glad you've got things sorted there's nothing worst then jumpy legs all the time, you get great advice on here, I think my body has got used to the oxynorm & clonazepam because last night I was up & down all night with my legs, hope it was a blip, will give it another go tonight, mind you, its so unpredictable RLS no matter what you do, if its the same as you did the previous night it makes no difference. Anyway hope everything's going ok, don't you take any dopamine drugs? just tramadol, that's brilliant if you don't take dopamine, coming of it is a killer, that's why I'm taking oxynorm & clonazepam, so I can sleep doesn't bother me during the day,RLS its just at night. Take care connie50
Connie it's a shame you can't take Tramodol ,I do get a bit of itching but nothing I can't take, yes I only take Tramodol changed from Requip Xl when I had augmentation which was the worst thing so painful ,I didn't ween of Dophamie just changed no probs. I can only say what happens to me as I am not knowledgeable like some of the folks on this forum ,take care x
