Hi Trubs, no not had this problem. It is however a classic symptom of an underactive thyroid! Have you had your neurology appt yet and if so how did it go? X

I have an appointment on the 13th October. Hope it goes well as I've waited for ages for it. Perhaps I should go to the doctor re the reflex problem as an underactive thyroid might account for putting on weight and also for my tiredness lately.

Yes definitely ask the doctor to test your thyroid levels.I only know because I have the opposite an overactive thyroid and have very brisk reflexes, I have my first neuro appointment on September 23rd.Only waited 5 weeks so can't complain but think its been quicker as I actually got admitted to the hospital and the referral came from a registrar x

I have always had weak reflexes, that is a sign of neurological issues, and RLS is really a neurological issue.
