Running Out of Options
) Sulfasalazine (took it for a year, maximum dose, no effect except brown pee and constant palpitations) Benepali (amazing for 4 months, changed my life, but then stopped working) Amgevita (no effect at all) Orencia (no effect at all) Rinvoq (worked like a charm for five months, then stopped)

Remsima (Infliximab) Side Effects
Four months ago I started on
Remsima
(Infliximab) in combination with Methotrexate. I noted the common side effects and just recently I am getting a few of them - and very unpleasant they are!

More about Remsima side effects
But unless it could be the combination of the two drugs (Methotrexate and
Remsima
) I can't think of what it could be. The GP doesn't prescribe these drugs so I don't really see that he will have great experience in the side effects. Well, thanks for your help Gnarli and Knit17.

Is anyone taking Remsima by subcutaneous injection?
I am about to change from IV infusions to SC injections to avoid the hospital visit at this time of Covid 19. The dosage is 120mg every two weeks as opposed to 140mg every eight weeks. This dose is for all weights - but I'm 45kg, and it would be the same dose for someone of 75kg! I also have Methotrexate

New meds and trigger thumbs.
Anyway the drug he now is giving me is '
remsima
' and was wondering if anyone else is on this drug and what side effects you had and did it reduce the symptoms of your rd. I have previously been on abatacept and the usual dmards but it didn't do much for me.

Biosimilars - a new treatment pathway?
Inflectra, marketed by Hospira and
Remsima
, manufactured by Celltrion, are essentially the same infliximab biosimilar of the original product Remicade, made by Johnson & Johnson.
