Is there any updated advice on donating blood after XMRV caused a "temporary" halt around 2010 ?

With low blood volume a common finding of researchers I doubt it would be safe for donors even if they were experiencing a high point in a fluctuating illness.

Searched for answers and found blood.co.uk/pdf/publication... on page 7. Organ donation acceptable blood donation blocked as all major neurological conditions.

Current guidance remains donations cannot be accepted if you have ever had a diagnosis even though you may have recovered.
