I don't think it is as simple as saying which single one of the criteria are correct. Also what is the question asking, what do we believe is the correct diagnosis to use, or what do we think has come the closest to accuracy?
Personally I think the last two definitions are the closest. The IOM diagnostic criteria summarise the crucial symptoms better than any other but in my opinion are not comprehensive enough. The detail in the 2011 criteria is better but not as clearly summarised.
That said I still think we need a lot more research in order to reach an accurate diagnostic criteria, hence my choice was alternative. Not because I think all others are wrong but are not accurate or definitive enough.

.IOM clear concise call too action for clinicians
I consider the IOM the best clinical criteria however Leonard Jason has a valid objection in my opinion against using this criteria as research group defining. Alternative I think science can achieve greater clarity by condensing the research presently available.

A pragmatic use the best available IOM whilst disliking the SEID name tag that will hopefully be changed long before the five year suggested review date maximum.
Addressing disquiet the International Consensus Criteria are cumbersome in a clinical setting with a handbook of the basics busy GP's are given a toolkit for accurate diagnosis.
Voted newest I am hoping thats right all confused.
Lots of different things seem connected across a rainbow spectrum and some isn't seen like the rainbows colours are wider than was known not long ago.
Definitive criteria can be established once research gaps are plugged now the game is guess the weight of the cake after a peak in the tin - educated gueswork.
Most accurate wont be penned until they do proper research.
