More time with the family without wondering where the next smoke is going to be.

Not smelling or feeling ashamed

in reply to Brighter1

I can smell it off people when they pass me in the street or on a bus. My first thought is always “I used to smell like that”. It’s horrible, when you think of all the social interactions I’ve had and the other person has smelt that off my breath, my clothes.

I think it’s nice to not smell like an ashtray!

obviously felling much healthier, smelling better, skin is soft. But the main thing is finances. I can treat myself, I see something I like and I can buy it.

I have to also add because as a man it’s important.

I have also noticed an incredible improvement in the bedroom department. “Marital Activites” are much better, I’m in my fifites and obviously not the same as when I was in my twenties but smoking was affecting these things. Not any more and that’s a major positive.

my skin was very dry when I smoked, now it feels quite greasy, and I’m week 5 and had a few spots

The best thing of all is now being free of those cigarettes ruling my life and me being a prisoner to them! Knowing not spending all that money on something so crazy!! Keeping the taste of lovely food and drink instead of straight away having that disgusting taste after. The feeling of so proud to have made it to the other side and being a happy non smoker now 😍 x
