Hi Jillygirl - My ‘other’ was Nicorette QuickMist and nicotine pouches which I tried briefly via a free trial. For anyone not familiar with pouches they come in a variety of flavours and strengths, you tuck them behind your upper lip and leave for probably a max of an hour (can sting) Found the free sample useful but have not bought any despite receiving a few special offer emails - available online. Have a lovely day 💕

4 years 8 months 1 week! Successful quit by using patches and following the instructions for the entire duration. This group was a huge help as well!

I used Wellbutrin medication then stared the patches a week later. Then used the lozenges as a back up ONLY if I was at a breaking point and might give in. And I only used the lozenges 2mg, once a day on the 1st week of using the patches. I used sugar free suckers for my car and for normal stress urges. I smoked a pack a day for 15 years and threw all of it at the addiction and I don’t want to go back. 8 months no smoking and I rarely use a sucker any more. Nicotine free completely since March 2021 . I don’t even feel like I am depriving myself or missing out on this final quit attempt. Very thankful for may state’s quit smoking program for sending my patches for free, allowing me to use each 3 step patch for a month. I also read Read the Alllen Car book about quitting smoking before my quitting and some when I was having a hard time. The best thing I read in there was how non smokers don’t ever feel like they need a cigarette. That feeling sucks and makes you quit what you are doing to run away. Constantly having withdrawals constantly during the day… that’s what we do to ourselves as smokers. Good luck!!
