How long have you been a non smoker.? - Quit Support
How long have you been a non smoker.?
Well worth quitting. I am 4 and 1/2 years now. and its flown.
I gave up after my 3rd hospital admission . It was an easy decision to make after smoking for 49 years. It ill be 3 years in January 2017. I can honestly say I haven't felt this good since I was a teenager. GC
I've gained weight since I quit but I'm certain I'm healthier even with 25 pounds. Great feeling to be a quitter😊😊😊
12 weeks TODAY! 😁
9 weeks tomorrow 👍
Actually, other than the first 12 years of my life, I haven't been a non smoker. I have either been a smoker or an ex smoker.😋
3 years for me - hardest and best thing I've ever done!
Put 3 even though its 2 and 11 months. Couldn't bear to put 2.
4 months really pleased with myself
So Happy I did. It was my best accomplishment ever..
So happy I did I feel amazing..

14 months and no regrets- so relieved to be free of it at last.
Mines 18 months not sure how to vote on that one lolo

15 months for me and don't really miss it time has gone so fast
2 more days and it will be 14 months!
still want a smoke every day! fighting it ALL the time. everything is harder to do without my crutch, concentrator etc etc.
Just short of 6 months, & I'm so thrilled I still can't believe I've actually accomplished it after wanting to quit for so long, so let's all look forward to a fresh year as non smokers with better health, more cash, & smelling fresh as Daisy's ( hopefully anyways😂)
After 40 years of smoking 30 a day...
I'm now smoke free nicotine free Day 33
Will be 3 years in January.
4 1/2 years for me too. Best thing I ever did. I still haven't got the weight back to before I gave up but I am really fit now. I rarely think about smoking now, apart from the smell when I'm in proximity of it, but I would never be one of those "cough, cough" people who wave thier hands about. It is hard, but it does become easier in time.
Always, always remember NOPE if you're ever the least bit tempted and the moment will soon pass.
I quit aug 3 2016 and I started slipping the first week in November not everyday but 2-5 on the days I did slip. But then I started over and now I'm on day 13 of the restart.
Was two years on the 4th not been easy, still need to lose weight I've gained !!
Still crave it but know it would make me sick
Glad to no longer be a hostage to it but still crave.
it will be 2 and 1/2 years on boxing day for me...wow!!!! that time has just flown by
Three years past September this year. Don't ever even think about smoking now and feel sorry for those that are still hooked. Also lost all of my quit weight and then some. I'm the lightest and fittest I've been since my 20's (I'm now 58!!) Never give up yourquit, just so worth the effort and early misery. x
My 3rd attempt this year. I had 2 years smoke free & then tricked myself that i could be a casual smoker. I was wrong!! Just 3 weeks on Monday since i quit & going well....so far
Hi Kevmc1, 3rd time lucky eh. Let us know your quit date and we can add you to our wall of winners and award you your badge. xx
I answered that wrong. Should have been 3 weeks.
3 months 8 days....and I am out and drunk and just caved and had a drunken cig and am so disappointed in myself that I had to come on here to confess...so sad and disgusted rigjt now. Don't want to start over as seeing my timeline has always been such an inspiration for me. I'm a loser. Do I need to restart the clock after one slip up? Didn't even taste good...so sad.
100 days on December 22
