Hi, not sure but all i can say is my dad has none of those but still has psp, i feel like it might be more hereditary, my grandad had parkinsons and so did my uncle

I haven’t looked into that, not sure if there’s any clinically backed association. My mom had relatively early menopause though, before she turned 50, and her PSP symptoms started appear a few years after that.

Your question is an interesting one. Mom suffered with PSP but never drank alcohol because her family history included alcoholism. Arthritis was an issue but l don't know if it was Osteoarthritis She did not have early menopause. Sending hugs... Granni B

I can only speak for my husband. He never drank, didn't have arthritis and obviously didn't have early menopause.

I agree with you, my husband didn't drink doesn't have arthritis. and like all men didn't suffer with the menopause.(unless he had it by proxy)...Brenda xxx.

Osteoarthritis is so common that it would be difficult to prove a link.

I don't think so, Mum had none of these issues, infact until PSP she had no health issues at all

Pancake,

I always wondered if there was a connection between CBD and my wife’s early menopause. She had menopause in early 40s and passed from CBD at 58. She did not have alcohol or Osteoarthritis.

I had menopause in my early 40s too. I also have osteoarthritis, arthritis, and osteoporosis, although none are a major problem so far. I enjoy my wine and a rum and coke but do not indulge heavily.

I am also thankful to report no CBD or PSP are evident so far.

Hugs to all fighting this journey!
