I'm dusting off 'things' too -usually myself. I had a couple of falls recently, once resulting with a broken hand and wrist. Ooooh! The 'W' word... I shudder at the thought. I've been googling tire chains and plastic skis for Scamp (my scooter) and may have found what I've been looking for. I'll take your advice and eat more ice cream... and chocolate too.

Oh, Tim - sorry about the falls. And how are you otherwise? I am trying not to give in too often to the very addictive Talenti salted caramel gelato with layers of chocolate covered caramel and crunchy bits - but when it's medically indicated, I go to town!

Sorry that I’ve gone silent. I’m trying hard to keep my head above water. This journey is so cruel!
Hubby is disappearing day by day and I’m receiving help through hospice now. Most of my energy is wrapped up by trying to stay in the moment. My hobbies have been put on the back burner.
I read about your tumble and I hope that you recovered quickly. If I recall you had a sled fall on top of you? Ouch!
Tim, I love your sense of humor. Putting chains on your scooter made me laugh! Best to take corners slowly so as to keep the other hand in tact. With luck it wasn’t your dominant hand/wrist? Double ouch!!!
And for the both of you, keep the ice cream and chocolate coming!

I had a feeling you could use some hugs. Keeping our heads above water is one of the hardest times we go through and hospice helped mom & me so much. You are smart to stay in the moment (it is a useful talent). Just wish l could drop off a basket of cookies & give you some some hugs.
