You’re right! The nest is exposed and more vulnerable to predators. I worry for them every day. They hatched on May 3rd so in just 9 short days they should be old enough to fly away and fend for themselves. Right now they still look like little bugs and they don’t move much. I have more photos to share with everyone.

This is a new family, different nest. Momma is Giggles and the babies are Wiggles and Squiggles 😂

My timeline is all wrong. They hatched on Mother’s Day, May 10th, not the 3rd. That means that they’ll stick around an extra week. Yeah!!! I just shoo’d away a blackbird 😬
