My husband has started with fever and high blood pressure in the evenigs. Is anyone else having this problem. My husband is 4 yrs into PSP.

We have had 2 chest x-rays done and show nothing. What else? Thanks for response. I am open to any suggestions.

what about a UTI? Could he be retaining?

You should get your husband checked by the doctor if he has a fever and for high blood pressure. The fever may be caused by infection and if it is not a chest infection then they need to look at other causes.

Sometimes people with PSP do have night sweats which necessitate that all the bed linen is changed and this may not be connected to infection but the doctor should check him out and let the doctor know about the high blood pressure.
