Hi Everyone.

My surgery has been brought forward to Friday 14th. Being admitted on Thursday. Surgery being carried out at Waikato Hospital, Hamilton, Aotearoa New Zealand.

I am extremely grateful to have found this Community as reading the experiences of so many Survivors has given me hope, peace and a relaxed and positive attitude going forward to this serious surgery.

I will keep the group updated on my journey.

Nga mihi nui 💖

The first few days after my surgery were awful for me, but as every day passed I felt better and stronger. At 71 I thought I would have real trouble reaching a full recovery, but now, ten months after my MOAS am healthier and stronger than I have been in years. Hang on in there you can do this.
